City of Dublin is a metropolis which is the capital of Ireland. Dublin is the largest city in Ireland, with an area of 114.99 square kilometers and a population of 1.2 million, this is more than a quarter of the population of Ireland. This city is a global city that is listed in GaWC, with ranking of Alpha, was ranked 29 th in the Global Financial Centre Index. The city has an important role in global finance, especially in the European Union, it became a variety of technology and communications companies, including Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Paypal and eBay, based in Dublin city center, is listed as the 4th richest city in the world in 2009.

Dublin is a city that has a significant role in the arts and culture, it became home to the Dublin Castle which is one of the oldest monuments in the country, is also known as UNESCO City of Literature in July 2010, this is supported by a variety of prominent literary figures, including Nobel laureate William Butler Yeats. This city is one of the main centers of national education, it became the home different universities and colleges located in downtown, there are several popular among the National University of Ireland and University of Dublin, this is the European Capital of Science in 2012 and became one of the community large local and foreign students from all over the world, particularly in the European Union.
