Lisbon is the oldest city in the world and is the capital of Portugal. The city is located in the low hills to the north of the River Tagus, and deemed to have been around since 2000 BC. The town was founded by the Iberian nations is one of the world’s cultural center, this is evidenced by the variety of Art Nouveau buildings such as the National Coach Museum, Carmo Archaeological Museum, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and the popular one is the Belem Tower and Jeronimos ConventĀ which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
